FAQ

  • What does the price of each trip include?

    All lodging, meals, transportation once you arrive on the island, unlimited consultations with HMM before the trip, and full staff  (team leader, translators, & cooks) to serve alongside you during your week of ministry.

  • What is not included?

    Airfare, ministry or construction materials, spending money, and insurance.

  • What if I am individual and want to go on a trip?

    No group?  HMM may attempt pair you with another registered team, so you can serve, connect, and make an impact together.  For more information, please contact HMM.

  • What kind of food do we eat?

    Our staff prepares all meals for teams. Breakfast is typically eggs, sausage, and potatoes. Lunch is a sandwich and chips. Dinner is a variety of chicken, pasta, rice and beans.

  • Do I need to bring my own food?

    Only if you have dietary restrictions or major allergies like poultry or gluten. In such cases, it's wise to bring appropriate snacks to supplement your diet for the week.  (HMM is not able to accomodate special dietary restrictions) HMM will provide all meals from the time you arrive to the time you depart. You may wish to bring snacks, but all main meals will be provided.

  • Where will we stay?

    All teams will stay at one of the HMM mission homes or at a hotel that HMM has partnered with specifically for teams.

  • What will we do?

    Our ministry opportunities vary from group to group. Here are some common activities:
